## Nintendo Switch 2 Ön Siparişleri Karışık Bir Başlangıç Yaptı

Nintendo’nun merakla beklenen yeni nesil oyun konsolu Nintendo Switch 2 için ön siparişler, ABD’de nihayet başladı ancak süreç, beklenenden daha karmaşık ve sorunlu ilerliyor.

Nintendo, daha önce ön siparişlerin 9 Nisan’da başlayacağını ve konsolun 5 Haziran’da piyasaya sürüleceğini duyurmuştu. Ancak şirket, gümrük tarifeleriyle ilgili endişeler nedeniyle ön siparişleri ertelemiş ve yeni bir tarih paylaşmamıştı.

The highly anticipated pre-orders for the Nintendo Switch 2 finally went live in the US at midnight ET, but the process has been far from smooth for many eager gamers. While Nintendo initially announced pre-orders would begin on April 9th before pushing them back due to tariff concerns, the eventual launch has been plagued with technical difficulties.

Reports are flooding in detailing frustrating experiences across various retailers. While some customers have reported success securing their pre-orders through Target’s app, several *Verge* staffers encountered roadblocks. Many managed to reach the checkout stage, only to be met with persistent errors preventing the completion of their purchase. One staffer reported being stuck in a loop with Apple Pay, constantly prompted to update their address despite providing valid information.

Walmart’s website presented its own set of challenges, implementing a queue system accompanied by the ominous message: “This deal is almost gone.” This added to the pressure and anxiety for potential buyers.

Deals hunter Wario64 offered a glimmer of hope in an X post at 12:20 AM ET, suggesting that it wasn’t too late to join the fray, citing available units at Target and Walmart. However, the widespread issues indicate that securing a Switch 2 might be more challenging than anticipated.

Best Buy, another major retailer slated to launch pre-orders at midnight ET, initially displayed a grayed-out “coming soon” button for both the standalone Switch 2 and the *Mario Kart World* bundle. After approximately 30 minutes, a virtual queue formed for the bundle, leaving customers in a holding pattern.

The difficult launch follows Nintendo President Shuntaro Furukawa’s recent warning about potential supply constraints in Japan. Adding to the frustrations, accessories for the Switch 2 are facing price hikes. Despite these challenges, Nintendo has maintained the starting price point for the console at $449.99 in the US, as announced last week. Pre-orders had already commenced earlier in the month in other regions, including the UK.
