Uluslararası kargo şirketi DHL Express, ABD’ye yapılan ve değeri 800 doların üzerindeki uluslararası gönderilere yeniden başladığını duyurdu. Reuters’in haberine göre, şirket bu kararı, Trump yönetiminin uluslararası ürünlere uyguladığı geniş kapsamlı tarifeler nedeniyle gümrük işlemlerindeki yoğun artış sebebiyle geçtiğimiz hafta askıya almıştı.

DHL’in açıklamasına göre, bugün itibariyle işletmelerden tüketicilere yapılan ve değeri 800 ila 2.500 dolar arasındaki gönderiler, standart “gayri resmi” giriş süreciyle gümrükten geçirilerek yeniden işleme alınmaya başlandı. Şirket, işletmeler arası gönderilerin ve değeri 800 doların altındaki paketlerin bu duraklamadan etkilenmediğini belirtiyor. Ancak DHL, bazı tüketici paketlerinin ABD’ye ulaşımında hala gecikmeler yaşanabileceği konusunda uyarıyor.

## DHL Resumes International Package Deliveries Over $800 to US Consumers After Tariff-Related Pause

DHL Express has announced the resumption of international package deliveries to US consumers for shipments valued over $800, effective today. This follows a suspension last week triggered by what the company described as “a surge in formal customs clearances” due to the Trump administration’s widespread tariffs on international goods.

The suspension, as previously reported, primarily affected business-to-consumer shipments. Now, according to a statement from DHL, packages in the $800 to $2,500 range will revert to the standard “informal” entry process for clearance. Business-to-business shipments and consumer packages valued under $800 were not affected by the initial pause and continued operating as usual.

While DHL is resuming normal operations, the company cautions that some consumer packages may still experience transit delays to the US as the system recalibrates.

The international shipping giant attributed the swift resolution to positive engagement with the US government. DHL stated that “constructive dialogue” demonstrated the government’s “strong willingness to understand” the company’s operational challenges and its commitment to “act quickly” in the best interests of US consumers. This collaborative effort facilitated the prompt resumption of these crucial international shipping services.
